US CBP ISF-5 Enforcements
Effective March 15, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will begin full enforcement of the ISF-5 filing requirement for Foreign Retained on Board (FROB) cargo. This will affect any foreign cargo that calls a U.S. port during transit.

EC5/ Fire onboard Yantian Express
Per our Customer Advisory dated January 30th, 2019, General Average was declared for the Yantian Express and consequently, all cargo interests are required to post General Average and Salvage Security before their cargo will be released. The vessel is currently still in Freeport, Bahamas, but all cargo from the affected areas has now been discharged and we anticipate a final port of call will soon be nominated for the remaining cargo.

Senegal - Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) Implementation
We would like to inform you that effective 1st March 2019 (BL date), a cargo Tracking Note (CTN) is mandatory for all shipments to Senegal.
It is mandatory for all Export cargo bound to a destination in Senegal to have a pre-validated CTN (Cargo Tracking Note) per commodity item which need to be mentioned on the BL and Cargo Manifest. Shipper is responsible to provide the CTN within 14 days after vessel departure from origin or prior vessel arrival at Dakar (Senegal) whichever comes first. With effective from 1st August 2019 (BL date), ONE will hold BL issuance until CTN is received from shipper and a surcharge of USD250/BL will be imposed if CTN submission is beyond the designated deadline.
