Implementation of EES surcharge with effect from April 1st, 2025

Thank you for your continued support and for choosing Ocean Network Express (ONE) to cater to your needs.

We would like to inform you that the Europe Environment Surcharge (EES) will take effect on January 1, 2025, in alignment with new regulatory standards and any potential future requirements across various jurisdictions. For further details, please refer to here. The EES will apply to all existing contracts as well as new contracts commencing on or after January 1, 2025. The EES tariff will be reviewed on a quarterly basis, though this is subject to change with prior notification. Please find below the applicable EES tariff for the period from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025.

*) The EES surcharge will not be applicable to export cargo from China. Instead of a surcharge, the EES portion will be incorporated and considered as a part of freight.
